Job Title: Backend Developer (Payments / Fintech Integration)

Job Description: Seeking a Backend Developer in Dubai with experience in payment systems and fintech integrations. The role builds and maintains backend services for digital and payment technology products.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs for Aurora Digital Technologies’ payment and fintech integration products
• Experience with payment systems or fintech integrations — required for the role
• Build and consume REST APIs connecting payment gateways, fintech platforms, and third-party financial data providers
• Design scalable, reliable backend services meeting performance and security standards for payment technology
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams on feature delivery across digital payment platforms
• Write well-tested, documented backend code following engineering best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend production issues affecting payment processing and integration reliability
• Contribute to technical architecture discussions and backend platform improvements

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven backend development experience with specific experience in payment systems or fintech integrations — required
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs for payment and financial data connectivity
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages (Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or equivalent)
• Understanding of payment gateway integrations, financial data APIs, and fintech platform connectivity
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and database systems
• Excellent problem-solving and technical documentation skills
