Job Title: Associate – Financial Restructuring & Special Situations

Job Description: As an Associate in a Financial Restructuring and Special Situations practice at a globally established advisory firm, you will be responsible for supporting complex restructuring mandates — applying financial modelling, creditor analysis, and debt restructuring expertise to advisory engagements across UAE and MENA corporate and financial institution clients requiring balance sheet restructuring and special situations support.

Responsibilities:

• Support complex restructuring mandates for UAE and MENA corporate and financial institution clients
• Apply financial modelling, creditor analysis, and debt restructuring expertise to advisory engagements
• Develop restructuring proposals, debt capacity models, and creditor negotiation analysis for client mandates
• Conduct financial due diligence and business analysis for distressed or underperforming businesses
• Prepare client presentations, information memoranda, and restructuring advisory documentation
• Coordinate with legal advisors, lenders, regulators, and client management on restructuring transactions
• Support business development activities for the Financial Restructuring practice in the UAE
• Monitor UAE and MENA restructuring market developments and distressed asset landscape

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven financial restructuring, special situations, or investment banking associate experience
• Strong financial modelling, debt analysis, and creditor negotiation expertise
• Understanding of UAE and MENA corporate restructuring dynamics and regulatory framework
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client-facing advisory and senior stakeholder engagement
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE and MENA restructuring client engagement
• ACA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
