Job Title: Assistant Manager, Security Governance & Compliance

Job Description: As an Assistant Manager for Security Governance & Compliance, you will spearhead and manage security governance, risk assessment, and security compliance programs, acting as a key influencer in security decisions and supporting the CISO office [citation:3].

Responsibilities:

• Establish an information security governance framework, documenting and updating information security policies to protect the bank and its sensitive data.
• Conduct independent security risk assessments, compliance reviews, and perform enterprise, cloud, and vendor/third-party risk assessments.
• Manage Swift and NESA/UAE IA compliance management programs and track closing security concerns with IT and business owners.
• Provide management dashboards showing progress on compliance and security KPIs and review security risk acceptance requests.

Qualifications Needed:

• 3+ years of proven track record in a regional bank with a good understanding of bank operations; an ideal candidate has a developer background.
• A degree preferably in Computer Science and/or Computer Networks.
• A good technical background in IT Security, Information Security, and Risk Management (ISO 27001, OWASP, CIS Security controls).
• Security certifications desirable (CISSP, CISA, OWASP, CISM, CRISC).
