Job Title: Area Manager – Business Banking

Job Description: As an Area Manager in Business Banking at a leading UAE Islamic banking institution, you will manage the overall business — running the centre as a profitable business unit with focus on customer satisfaction, staff development, and commercial performance. This is a key leadership role driving Business Banking growth across the Abu Dhabi area for a globally established Islamic bank.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall Business Banking business — running the centre as a profitable business unit
• Focus on customer satisfaction, staff development, and commercial performance across the Abu Dhabi area
• Drive Business Banking revenue growth through client acquisition, relationship deepening, and product cross-sell
• Lead the branch Business Banking team — setting targets, coaching, and driving performance culture
• Ensure all Business Banking activities comply with UAE banking regulations and Islamic finance standards
• Monitor Business Banking portfolio performance, client satisfaction, and commercial KPIs
• Produce area performance reporting and strategic recommendations for senior management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Abu Dhabi SME and business banking clients

Qualifications Needed:

• UAE National preferred — Abu Dhabi Business Banking Area Manager UAE Nationals preferred
• Proven Area Manager or senior Business Banking leadership experience at a major UAE Islamic bank
• Strong commercial, leadership, and client relationship management skills for Business Banking area management
• Deep understanding of UAE Islamic banking products and regulatory requirements
• Arabic language skills essential for Abu Dhabi Business Banking client and team engagement
