Job Title: AI / ML Engineer – Financial Technology

Job Description: As an AI and Machine Learning Engineer within a financial technology environment, you will be responsible for building and deploying AI/ML solutions that drive smarter financial decisions — developing production-grade machine learning models, data pipelines, and AI-powered features for a financial technology platform operating across the UAE and MENA region.

Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy AI/ML solutions driving smarter financial decisions across a UAE fintech platform
• Develop production-grade machine learning models for financial applications — credit scoring, fraud detection, risk analytics, and process automation
• Build and maintain data pipelines, feature engineering frameworks, and ML model serving infrastructure
• Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Compliance teams on AI model development and deployment
• Ensure AI/ML systems meet performance, security, and reliability standards for regulated financial technology
• Monitor model performance in production — tracking accuracy, drift, and regulatory compliance continuously
• Produce model documentation, validation reports, and technical specifications for AI/ML governance
• Apply cutting-edge AI research and emerging ML techniques to fintech platform challenges

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven AI/ML engineering experience building and deploying production models for fintech or financial services applications
• Strong Python proficiency with deep ML framework expertise (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or equivalent)
• Experience with data pipelines, feature engineering, and ML model serving in production environments
• Understanding of financial AI use cases — credit, fraud, risk, and compliance — and applicable regulatory requirements
• Strong technical collaboration skills across data science, engineering, and product teams
• Relevant AI/ML engineering certification or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics preferred
