Job Title: Head of Engineering (Trading)

Job Description: As the Head of Engineering for Trading at Fuse Energy, you will lead the trading technology team, designing and building scalable, high-performance systems that power the company’s trading operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the trading engineering team, setting technical direction and architecture.
• Architect and deliver scalable, low-latency trading systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with trading, operations, and business stakeholders to align engineering with trading strategy.
• Drive innovation in trading technology, including algorithmic and automated trading systems.

Qualifications Needed:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role in trading or fintech.
• Deep expertise in low-latency systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Strong understanding of trading systems, order management, and market data.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills; fluent in English.
