Job Title: Chief Operating Officer – Fintech / Financial Services

Job Description: As a Chief Operating Officer at a fintech and financial services company, you will be responsible for ensuring that operational procedures and systems are optimized for both short-term and long-term growth — applying visionary operational leadership to guide the company’s operational excellence agenda as a key member of the executive team. You will lead operations across all business functions, driving efficiency, scalability, and compliance for a globally ambitious fintech organization.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that operational procedures and systems are optimized for both short-term and long-term growth
• Apply visionary thinking — able to think long-term and guide the company through complex operational challenges
• Lead operations across all business functions — Technology, Finance, Compliance, Commercial, and Customer Operations
• Build and maintain scalable operational frameworks, process standards, and governance structures
• Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic operational planning, business model optimization, and organizational design
• Drive operational efficiency improvements through process automation, technology adoption, and team development
• Ensure full compliance with applicable UAE financial services regulatory requirements across all operational functions
• Build and lead a high-performing operational leadership team as the fintech company scales

Qualifications Needed:

• Significant COO or senior operational leadership experience within a fintech, financial services, or technology company
• Proven track record optimizing operational procedures and systems for both short-term efficiency and long-term growth
• Visionary operational leadership with ability to guide a company through complex growth challenges
• Deep understanding of fintech operational requirements — regulatory compliance, technology operations, and customer service
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and executive communication skills
• UAE or GCC fintech operational experience preferred
