Job Title: VP/Architect – Digital Wholesale Banking Platforms (Treasury & Transaction Banking, AWS/microservices)

Job Description: As a VP and Architect for Digital Wholesale Banking Platforms at RAKBANK, you will design and oversee the architecture of cloud-native, microservices-based platforms for treasury and transaction banking, driving digital transformation for corporate clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and modernisation of wholesale banking platforms, including treasury, payments, and cash management.
• Define and drive the adoption of AWS, microservices, and API-first design principles across the platform.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to align architecture with business strategy.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of platforms to meet corporate banking demands.

Qualifications Needed:

• 10+ years of software architecture experience, with 5+ years in banking, fintech, or wholesale banking platforms.
• Deep expertise in AWS cloud, microservices architecture, containerisation (Kubernetes), and API management.
• Strong knowledge of treasury, transaction banking, and corporate payment systems (SWIFT, ISO 20022).
• Exceptional technical leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills; fluent in English.
