Job Title: Team Lead, Payment Screening

Job Description: As a Team Lead for Payment Screening at Wio Bank, you will manage the payment screening team, ensuring all transactions are vetted for compliance with AML/CFT regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of payment screening analysts, setting performance standards and KPIs.
• Oversee the daily screening of payment transactions, sanctions checks, and suspicious activity alerts.
• Develop and refine screening rules, thresholds, and workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and operations teams to resolve escalations and enhance controls.

Qualifications Needed:

• 6+ years of payment screening, AML, or compliance experience in banking or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of sanctions regimes, transaction monitoring systems, and AML/CFT frameworks.
• Experience with payment processing, SWIFT, and local clearing systems.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills; fluent in English.
