Job Title: Software Engineer II

Job Description: As a Software Engineer II at HALA, you will design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions that power fintech lending, payment, and risk management platforms, contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices using modern programming languages (Java, Go, or Python).
• Participate in code reviews, system design, and architectural discussions to ensure robust, secure solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and operations teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and documentation to maintain high code quality.

Qualifications Needed:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Go, or Python, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Experience with relational databases, message queues (Kafka), and RESTful API development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and attention to quality; fluent in English.
