Job Title: Senior Java Developer – Payments Domain

Job Description: As a Senior Java Developer for the Payments domain at a technology services company, you will integrate with third-party payment providers, banks, and fintech APIs — collaborating with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality Java payment platform solutions for financial services and fintech clients across the UAE and GCC.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate with third-party payment providers, banks, and fintech APIs to deliver payment platform solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps on payment platform delivery
• Design and implement high-quality Java backend services for payments domain processing and integration
• Build and maintain payment API integrations — REST, ISO 8583, and payment scheme-specific protocols
• Ensure payment platform systems meet security, compliance, and reliability standards for regulated environments
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to Java engineering quality standards for payment platform delivery
• Produce technical documentation for payment API integrations and Java payment service architecture
• Stay current on payments technology developments and apply best practices to Java payment platform engineering

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Senior Java Developer experience with payments domain and third-party payment API integration expertise
• Deep proficiency in Java and Spring Framework for production payment platform engineering
• Experience integrating with payment providers, banks, and fintech APIs in regulated environments
• Understanding of ISO 8583, REST APIs, and payment scheme technical standards
• Excellent collaborative and code quality skills for cross-functional fintech engineering teams
• UAE or GCC payments domain Java engineering experience preferred
