Job Title: Senior Data Scientist (Generative AI/ML, digital transformation)

Job Description: As a Senior Data Scientist specialising in Generative AI and Machine Learning at Commercial Bank of Qatar, you will lead the development of AI-driven solutions to drive digital transformation, enhance customer experiences, and optimise banking operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI and ML models for personalisation, fraud detection, and customer analytics.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and data teams to identify high-impact AI use cases.
• Implement MLOps pipelines to ensure model scalability, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in GenAI, LLMs, and applied ML; translate research into production solutions.

Qualifications Needed:

• 6+ years of data science experience, with 3+ years in Generative AI and ML in banking or fintech.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, transformer architectures, and prompt engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; fluent in English.
