Job Title: Senior Data Science Specialist

Job Description: As a Senior Data Science Specialist at PayTech Nexus Ltd, you will lead the development of advanced data science models and analytics solutions that drive payment innovation, risk management, and customer insights for fintech platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for payment analytics, fraud detection, and customer segmentation.
• Analyse large datasets to extract insights and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate data science solutions into production systems.
• Monitor model performance, conduct validation, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications Needed:

• 6+ years of data science experience in fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries (Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow).
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English.
