Job Title: Senior Associate – Credit Analyst (Fintech / Banking)

Job Description: As a Senior Associate and Credit Analyst at a fintech and financial data company, you will be responsible for conducting credit analysis on businesses and individual borrowers — applying proven experience in credit analysis from a fintech or banking environment to produce accurate, policy-compliant credit assessments. You will ensure adherence to company credit policies and support data-driven lending decisions across a growing fintech credit platform.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed credit analysis on businesses and individual borrowers for a fintech credit platform
• Apply proven experience in credit analysis from a fintech or banking environment to produce accurate assessments
• Ensure policy compliance — adhere to company credit policies and underwriting guidelines across all credit decisions
• Analyze financial statements, cash flows, credit bureau data, and alternative data sources for credit assessment
• Produce clear, well-structured credit assessment reports with recommendations for credit approval or decline
• Monitor credit portfolio performance and identify deteriorating credit trends requiring management attention
• Coordinate with Sales, Risk, and Operations teams on credit application processing and decision communication
• Stay current on UAE credit market developments and regulatory requirements for fintech lending

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven experience in credit analysis — preferably in a fintech or banking environment — required
• Strong financial analysis, credit modelling, and policy compliance skills
• Experience analyzing financial statements, cash flows, and alternative data for credit assessment
• Excellent written communication for credit report production and stakeholder communication
• Understanding of UAE consumer and SME credit market dynamics preferred
• Relevant finance or credit qualification (CFA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
