Job Title: Senior Analyst, Payments

Job Description: As a Senior Analyst in Payments at Checkout.com, you will analyse payment performance, identify optimisation opportunities, and support the development of payment strategies for enterprise merchants.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse payment transaction data to identify trends, optimise approval rates, and reduce costs.
• Develop and present insights and recommendations to merchant clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and account management teams to enhance payment solutions.
• Monitor payment performance, competitor activity, and industry trends to inform strategy.

Qualifications Needed:

• 5+ years of payments, analytics, or fintech experience in a high-growth environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data visualisation tools (Tableau, Looker), and payment metrics analysis.
• Deep understanding of payment gateways, card schemes, and transaction processing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English.
