Job Title: Senior AI Research Engineer, Model Inference

Job Description: As a Senior AI Research Engineer specialising in model inference at Tether, you will research, develop, and optimise AI models for inference at scale, driving innovation in AI-powered fintech and blockchain applications.

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop state-of-the-art AI models for inference, focusing on performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Optimise model deployment pipelines for low-latency, high-throughput inference in production environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and research teams to integrate AI models into products.
• Stay at the forefront of AI research and apply cutting-edge techniques to real-world problems.

Qualifications Needed:

• 6+ years of AI/ML research or engineering experience, with a focus on model inference and deployment.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, transformer architectures, and model optimisation techniques (quantisation, pruning, distillation).
• Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and inference frameworks (ONNX, TensorRT).
• Strong research background with publications in top-tier AI conferences is a plus.
