Job Title: Security Engineer – FinTech
Job Description: Design and maintain secure infrastructure for a fast-growing fintech or digital asset firm in Abu Dhabi. Role offers up to 50,000 AED per month plus bonus for the right candidate with a background in financial services or regulated industries.
Responsibilities:*
- Design, implement, and maintain secure infrastructure across fintech and digital asset platforms
- Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modelling, and vulnerability assessments
- Drive DevSecOps culture by embedding security practices across CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Respond to and manage security incidents, coordinating with operations and engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with applicable security standards and regulatory requirements in the UAE fintech sector
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure security-by-design across all systems
- Maintain security certifications and documentation as required by regulators
Qualifications Needed:
- Strong background in financial services, fintech, or a similarly regulated industry
- Proven experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or cybersecurity architecture
- Proficiency in cloud security, infrastructure hardening, and vulnerability management
- Knowledge of applicable UAE regulatory and security standards
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent) preferred
