Job Title: Regulatory Reporting & Financial Controls Officer

Job Description: As a Regulatory Reporting and Financial Controls Officer at a banking and fintech technology consultancy, you will be responsible for managing regulatory reporting obligations and financial controls for a UAE banking client — ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial and regulatory reporting across all applicable UAE Central Bank, DFSA, and regulatory submission requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage regulatory reporting obligations and financial controls for a UAE banking client
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial and regulatory reporting for UAE Central Bank and applicable regulatory submissions
• Develop and maintain regulatory reporting frameworks, financial controls documentation, and submission calendars
• Conduct financial controls testing and regulatory reporting gap analyses
• Coordinate with Finance, Compliance, Technology, and Operations teams on regulatory data integrity and submission processes
• Produce management information and regulatory performance reporting for senior banking leadership
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting financial and prudential reporting requirements for UAE banks
• Support external audit and regulatory examination preparation with accurate financial controls evidence

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven regulatory reporting and financial controls experience within a UAE bank or financial services institution
• Deep understanding of UAE Central Bank regulatory reporting requirements and DFSA prudential reporting standards
• Strong financial controls testing and compliance documentation skills
• Excellent analytical and written communication for regulatory submission preparation and management reporting
• Relevant accounting or compliance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred
• UAE banking regulatory reporting experience strongly preferred
