Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Senior Manager

Job Description: As a Regulatory Compliance Senior Manager with a focus on virtual assets, you will be responsible for leading regulatory strategy and compliance for a globally established fintech company operating in the virtual assets and international payments space. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, you will ensure the highest standards of regulatory compliance and virtual asset governance across a mission-driven fintech organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead regulatory strategy and compliance for a globally established fintech’s virtual asset and international payments operations
• Develop and implement comprehensive regulatory compliance frameworks for virtual asset activities including VARA requirements
• Manage regulatory relationships with VARA, CBUAE, and applicable UAE financial authorities
• Oversee AML/CFT compliance programme for virtual asset operations including KYC, transaction monitoring, and STR filing
• Monitor regulatory developments in virtual assets, digital payments, and international money transfer across UAE and global markets
• Provide strategic compliance advisory to Product, Commercial, and Technology teams on regulatory requirements
• Lead compliance monitoring and testing for virtual asset product lines and payment operations
• Build and develop the UAE virtual assets compliance team

Qualifications Needed:

• 7–10+ years of senior compliance leadership experience within virtual assets, fintech, or regulated financial services
• Deep knowledge of VARA regulations and UAE virtual asset compliance requirements
• Proven track record developing and implementing virtual asset regulatory frameworks
• Experience managing regulatory relationships with VARA and other UAE financial regulators
• Strong leadership, strategic advisory, and regulatory engagement skills
• Relevant compliance qualifications (CAMS, ICA, or equivalent) required
