Job Description

Job Title: The Product Designer will own end-to-end UX/UI design for product features — from user research and wireframing through high-fidelity prototyping and production handoff — ensuring HALA’s products are intuitive, culturally relevant, and beautifully executed for Arabic-speaking SME merchants.

Job Description: As a Financial Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure their success with the company’s financial products and services. You will serve as a trusted advisor, understanding customer needs and advocating for their interests within the organization.

Responsibilities:*

  • Own end-to-end product design for HALA’s merchant-facing products across web and mobile surfaces
  • Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and usability testing to generate design insights
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs across HALA’s product surfaces
  • Design bilingual Arabic/English interfaces that meet Arabic typography standards and MENA user expectations
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define requirements, iterate on designs, and ensure pixel-perfect implementation
  • Maintain and evolve HALA’s design system, ensuring consistency across all product surfaces
  • Present design decisions to stakeholders with clear rationale grounded in user research and business objectives
  • Contribute to improving HALA’s design culture and practices across the product organization

Qualifications Needed:

  • 3–6 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UX/UI work
  • Proficiency in Figma and design system management
  • Experience designing bilingual Arabic/English interfaces is strongly preferred
  • Strong user research skills — ability to translate user insights into design decisions
  • Understanding of mobile design patterns (iOS and Android) and web design principles
  • Fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS product design experience is a strong advantage
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh

What the Company Offers:

  • Product design role at a SAMA-licensed SME fintech with 100,000+ merchant clients
  • Bilingual Arabic/English design mandate with direct impact on merchant experience
  • Inclusive culture with flexibility in remote, in-office, and hybrid work
  • Highly competitive compensation with equity potential
  • Annual learning stipend and 30+ nationality team across 7 countries
