Job Title: Process Lead, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Automation
Job Description: As a Process Lead, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Automation, you will lead the transformation and optimization of end-to-end accounts receivable, billing, credit-control, and cash-allocation processes for a global payroll and HR technology platform, using automation, financial systems, data, operational controls, and cross-functional leadership to improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and implement automation-first strategies across accounts receivable, billing, credit control, and cash-allocation workflows
- Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators covering turnaround times, reconciliation accuracy, dispute resolution, and cash-flow forecasting
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams to define requirements for scalable financial tooling and systems
- Test and implement financial systems, workflow improvements, and automation solutions supporting complex global operations
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures and internal controls that reduce operational risk and support accurate financial reporting
- Lead cross-functional change-management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes, controls, technologies, and operating practices
- Provide data-led recommendations to finance leadership on operational performance, automation roadmaps, and resource allocation
- Promote sustained process improvement across billing, receivables, collections, reconciliation, and financial-operations workflows
Qualifications Needed:
- Minimum eight years of experience in finance, operations, or process improvement
- Significant experience in accounts receivable, billing, and credit-control operations
- Proven expertise designing and implementing process automation, workflow solutions, RPA, or system integrations
- Strong analytical capability with experience managing KPIs and using performance data to guide operational decisions
- Demonstrated leadership, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills, including work with Product, BI, and Engineering teams
- Experience managing operational controls, compliance frameworks, and risk-mitigation strategies; high-growth international technology experience is desirable
