Job Title: Portfolio Manager – Fintech Venture Capital Investments

Job Description: As a Portfolio Manager for Fintech Venture Capital Investments at a leading organization in Oman, you will be responsible for rolling out fintech venture capital investments, creating organizational collaborations, and establishing a fintech venture capital portfolio for the bank. You will build a strong team to ensure proficient portfolio management and work through bank channels to enable collaborations and realize strategic growth opportunities through fintech investments .

Responsibilities:

• Roll out “Fintech Venture Capital Investments” for the organization
• Create organizational collaborations and strategic partnerships
• Establish and manage a fintech venture capital portfolio for the bank
• Build a strong team to ensure proficient portfolio management
• Work through the bank’s organizational channels to enable collaborations
• Realize strategic growth opportunities through fintech investments
• Provide analytical and financial insights for investment decisions
• Support the bank’s fintech investment strategy and execution

Qualifications Needed:

• Master’s Degree with 5-10 years investment and portfolio management experience
• Experience with a technology venture capital firm preferably with a Fintech focus
• Experience of managing corporate venture in a bank
• Strong analytical and financial skills with sound understanding of trending technologies in fintech markets
• Advanced understanding of sub-sectors of Fintech (such as payments, credit)
• Understanding of application of Fintech solutions for banking institutions
• Ability to work in an organizational framework to create collaborations and strategic investments
• Entrepreneurship experience would be added advantage
