Job Title: Legal Associate – Commercial & Fintech Products

Job Description: As a Legal Associate responsible for commercial and fintech product legal advisory at a leading fintech company, you will advise on legal aspects of product development across a suite of fintech products — reviewing and drafting commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and fintech product legal documentation for a globally established fintech serving tens of millions of customers.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on legal aspects of product development across a suite of fintech products — required core mandate
• Review and draft commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and fintech product legal documentation
• Provide legal advisory to Product, Commercial, Operations, and Technology teams on regulatory and contractual matters
• Manage legal review of fintech product launches — assessing regulatory compliance and commercial risk
• Support regulatory submissions and licensing activities for fintech product expansion into new markets
• Coordinate with external legal counsel on complex commercial and regulatory matters
• Maintain legal documentation, contract registers, and compliance filing records
• Stay current on UAE financial services law, fintech regulation, and commercial legal developments

Qualifications Needed:

• Qualified lawyer with post-qualification experience in commercial law, fintech law, or financial services
• Proven experience advising on legal aspects of fintech product development — required
• Strong contract drafting, review, and commercial negotiation skills
• Understanding of UAE financial services regulation and fintech product legal requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional legal advisory
• Arabic language skills advantageous for UAE regulatory and commercial engagement
