Job Title: KYC/AML Senior Analyst

Job Description: As a Senior KYC and AML Analyst in a UAE Nationals-only role at a globally leading financial institution, you will support the KYC and AML governance function — applying senior analytical expertise to client due diligence, transaction monitoring, and AML oversight for Citi’s UAE National talent development programme.

Responsibilities:

• Support the KYC and AML governance function with senior analytical expertise and attention to detail
• Conduct senior-level KYC reviews — complex corporate structures, PEP profiles, and high-risk entity assessment
• Perform enhanced due diligence on complex and high-risk banking clients across institutional portfolios
• Conduct transaction monitoring analysis — investigating alerts and escalating suspicious activity to MLRO
• Coordinate with Compliance, Relationship Management, and Operations teams on KYC and AML governance
• Produce senior KYC and AML analytics reports and management information for compliance leadership
• Ensure all KYC and AML activities comply with CBUAE and Citi’s global AML standards
• Monitor UAE and international KYC/AML regulatory developments affecting banking compliance operations

Qualifications Needed:

• UAE National (Emirati) — this role is open exclusively to UAE Nationals
• Proven Senior KYC and AML Analyst experience in banking or financial services — required
• Strong complex corporate structure analysis, PEP review, and enhanced due diligence skills
• Deep understanding of CBUAE AML/CFT regulations and global KYC standards for banking
• CAMS or equivalent AML qualification preferred for senior KYC analyst mandate
• Arabic language skills essential for UAE National banking compliance team engagement
