Job Title: Junior Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Description: As a Junior Accounts Receivable Clerk at a fintech and technology solutions company, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable operations — escalating unresolved or high-risk collection cases to management when required. You will apply a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent with fintech or startup experience to support financial operations in a growing technology company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable operations — tracking, reconciling, and following up on outstanding receivables
• Escalate unresolved or high-risk collection cases to management with appropriate documentation and rationale
• Process and record all incoming payments accurately in the company’s financial systems
• Prepare accounts receivable ageing reports and reconcile receivables positions regularly
• Liaise with clients on overdue payment queries in a professional and compliant manner
• Maintain accurate records of all receivables transactions and collection activities
• Support month-end close activities — ensuring all AR transactions are recorded accurately and on time
• Contribute to financial operations improvement and AR process enhancement activities

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent — required
• Fintech or startup experience preferred for this accounts receivable role
• Part-qualified ACCA, CMA, or CIMA is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for AR record management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client payment query handling
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
