Job Title: Intern Backend

Job Description: As an Intern Backend (GO) Engineer, you will join a production backend team supporting high-load financial products, developing and maintaining Go services, APIs, data-storage integrations, and platform capabilities while working under senior engineering review.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services used by core financial products
• Contribute production code under senior engineering review
• Work with APIs, data storage, and external service integrations
• Support testing and maintenance of backend service behaviour
• Investigate technical issues and participate in code-level problem solving
• Collaborate with engineers working on distributed financial systems
• Document implementation details and communicate within an international team
• Apply engineering standards for reliability, security, and regulatory-sensitive systems

Qualifications Needed:

• Saudi nationality and eligibility for the structured HRDF internship
• Current student or fresh graduate status with strong computer-science fundamentals
• English sufficient for technical documentation and team communication
• Hands-on Go experience is a strong advantage
• Experience with SQL databases, containers, cloud platforms, or Kubernetes is beneficial
• Interest in scalable distributed systems, concurrency, testing, and backend engineering
