Job Title: In-House Legal Counsel

Job Description: As In-House Legal Counsel at Tarabut Gateway, you will provide comprehensive legal support across UAE, Saudi, and Bahrain operations, focusing on fintech regulations, commercial contracts, and compliance for a leading Open Banking platform.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including partnership contracts, client agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Advise on fintech regulatory matters across UAE (CBUAE, DIFC, ADGM), Saudi (SAMA), and Bahrain (CBB).
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws, AML/CFT regulations, and Open Banking frameworks.
• Manage legal risks, support M&A and fundraising activities, and coordinate with external counsel.

Qualifications Needed:

• 5+ years of legal experience, with 3+ years in fintech, payments, or financial services in the GCC.
• Deep knowledge of UAE, Saudi, and Bahrain financial regulations, including Open Banking frameworks.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills; ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; admission to a recognised bar or legal society preferred.
