Job Title: Head of Technology Operations – UAE

Job Description: The Head of Technology Operations (UAE) will own the operational technology function for the UAE entity — covering infrastructure management, IT governance, cybersecurity operations, incident management, and operational resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technology operations for Copper’s UAE entity — overseeing infrastructure, IT governance, cybersecurity operations, and system reliability
• Manage technology operational processes including change management, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Ensure technology infrastructure meets ADGM FSRA operational resilience and cybersecurity requirements
• Oversee the UAE technology environment including cloud infrastructure, security tooling, and end-user computing
• Partner with Copper’s global Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams on technology risk management and regulatory compliance
• Lead technology vendor management and IT procurement for the UAE entity
• Produce technology operations reporting for UAE management and ADGM regulatory requirements
• Build and develop the UAE technology operations team

Qualifications Needed:

• 8+ years of technology operations leadership experience within a regulated financial institution, digital asset firm, or fintech
• Strong understanding of ADGM FSRA technology and operational resilience requirements or comparable financial regulatory frameworks
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), cybersecurity operations, and IT governance in a regulated environment
• Knowledge of digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, and custody technology preferred
• Relevant technology leadership certifications (CISM, CISSP, or equivalent) preferred
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
