Job Title: Graduate Technology Trainee

Job Description: As a Graduate Technology Trainee at a Qatar Central Bank licensed digital payments and money management app offering physical and virtual Visa cards, smart spending insights, subscription tracking, and saving tools, you will work on building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power the fintech platform. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment while working on real-world financial technology, with training provided on the specific technologies used.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
• Work with databases to ensure data integrity and security
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
• Help troubleshoot and debug issues in development and production environments
• Learn and implement best practices for security, especially crucial in fintech applications

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming concepts, database concepts and SQL, operating systems and computer networks, software design principles, and understanding of time and space complexity
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Ability to write clean, logical code
• Strong attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for building quality software
