Job Title: Fraud Investigator

Job Description: As a Fraud Investigator on the Trust and Safety team at Saudi Arabia’s first fintech unicorn, you will monitor and investigate suspicious transactions and activities to protect the company and its customers from financial losses and reputational damage, implementing effective anti-fraud solutions across a platform serving millions of users in KSA, UAE, and Kuwait.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse transactions and activities to identify potential fraud, money laundering, or other criminal activities
• Utilize data analysis, statistical modelling, and fraud detection tools to identify suspicious patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial transactions
• Investigate suspicious activities and prepare detailed reports of findings
• Collaborate with other teams to implement fraud prevention measures and improve overall security
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in fraud prevention techniques and technologies
• Provide support and guidance to other team members as needed
• Contact customers and merchants frequently to verify transaction details
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays as required

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Excel, SQL, and Python is preferred
• 2+ years of experience in fraud prevention or investigation
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and openness to relocating to Riyadh if not currently based there
