Job Title: Financial Operations Consultant

Job Description: As a Financial Operations Consultant at Tap Payments, a company revolutionizing online payments across the MENA region, you will perform reconciliations between internal systems, payment gateways, and banks while managing financial records and ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will execute internal controls reviews of new and existing merchants and participate in meetings to implement best practices across finance operations .

Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliations between Internal systems, Payment Gateways and Banks
• Manage financial records, ensures accuracy, and handles compliance
• Conduct Internal Controls review and reconciliation between the sales captured on Operation System against the payment gateways
• Execute Internal Controls & Reviews of existing and new merchants onboarded from a Finance perspective
• Participate in meetings and discussions on collaboration, processes, technical front and implement best practices
• Comply with the Internal Finance Operating procedures and rules and regulations
• Carry out other duties as assigned based on the demands of the business

Qualifications Needed:

• 2-4 years of role-specific experience in Financial Services/Fintech/High-Growth Startups
• Preferred degree, but real-world experience is also accepted
• Ability to establish credibility and internal relationships
• Understanding of client/merchant/stakeholder care
• Enthusiasm for working in a growing fintech
• Problem-solving and quick-thinking skills
• Strong communication skills in English, with a preference for Arabic language ability
