Job Title: Financial Ethnographer
Job Description: As a Financial Ethnographer, you will be responsible for studying the cultural, social, and behavioral aspects of financial practices and systems. You will conduct ethnographic research to gain insights into how people engage with money, technology, and financial services, informing the design and development of fintech products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ethnographic research to understand the attitudes, behaviors, and practices of users in financial contexts.
- Analyze qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, and insights relevant to fintech innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable insights and design recommendations.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and methodologies within the organization.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in financial ethnography and user research.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Anthropology, Sociology, or related field.
- Experience in ethnographic research, qualitative data analysis, or user research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of financial markets, products, and services.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
