Job Title: Engineering Director – Fintech

Job Description: Lead SiFi’s technical architecture and engineering excellence across its spend management platform. SiFi is a fast-growing Saudi fintech startup backed by Sanabil Investments (PIF), Raed Ventures, and Breyer Capital, providing business accounting and spend management solutions for Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SiFi’s technical architecture and engineering excellence across the spend management platform
• Define and own the engineering strategy, setting technical direction and delivery standards
• Build, scale, and lead high-performing engineering teams across product and platform functions
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations stakeholders on cross-functional delivery
• Drive architectural decisions for scalability, security, and reliability of SiFi’s fintech systems
• Ensure technical delivery aligns with business objectives and Saudi regulatory requirements
• Oversee engineering quality standards, code review processes, and development best practices
• Report to senior leadership on engineering performance, capacity, and roadmap progress

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven experience as an Engineering Director, VP Engineering, or equivalent senior technical leadership role
• Track record of scaling engineering teams and delivery at a high-growth fintech or technology company
• Strong technical background across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and system architecture
• Experience building and operating fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS platforms
• Deep understanding of Saudi fintech regulatory requirements preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
