Job Title: Digital Assets Product Owner

Job Description: The Digital Assets Product Owner will be a senior-level product manager with responsibility for turning the bank’s digital asset vision into real products — covering digital asset custody, tokenization, trading, and client-facing digital asset services for Standard Chartered’s institutional and corporate clients.

Responsibilities:*

• Own the end-to-end digital asset product roadmap for Standard Chartered’s MENA digital asset strategy
• Define product vision, strategy, and OKRs for the bank’s digital asset services including custody, tokenization, and trading
• Work with Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Business teams to design and deliver compliant, scalable digital asset products
• Conduct client research and market analysis to understand institutional demand for digital asset services in MENA
• Ensure all digital asset products comply with VARA, ADGM, DFSA, and relevant UAE regulatory frameworks
• Partner with the global Standard Chartered Digital Assets team to align MENA product development with global strategy
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including regulators, custodians, and technology partners
• Lead product discovery, definition, and delivery processes using agile methodologies

Qualifications Needed:

• Senior-level product management experience with proven track record delivering complex, regulated digital products
• Deep understanding of digital assets including tokenization, blockchain infrastructure, digital custody, and institutional digital asset markets
• Experience at a Tier 1 bank, regulated financial institution, or institutional digital asset firm
• Strong understanding of UAE digital asset regulatory frameworks (VARA, ADGM) preferred
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for senior stakeholder management
• Experience working across global, cross-functional teams in a large financial institution
