Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Description: As a Data Engineer specializing in PySpark and Informatica for a banking and fintech data platform, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers banking analytics, regulatory reporting, and business intelligence across a major financial services and fintech technology environment.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain data infrastructure powering banking analytics, regulatory reporting, and business intelligence
• Apply PySpark and Informatica expertise to develop scalable data pipelines for a banking and fintech data platform
• Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines for financial services data environments
• Ensure system integrations and data access functions correctly — supporting data protection and compliance standards
• Support data protection, confidentiality, and compliance with internal IT and regulatory data policies
• Collaborate with Analytics, Compliance, Finance, and Technology teams on data infrastructure requirements
• Maintain data quality and integrity across all pipelines and analytical systems
• Stay current on data engineering best practices relevant to banking and fintech data platforms

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven data engineering experience with strong PySpark and Informatica proficiency
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines for banking or financial services data environments
• Strong understanding of data warehouse design, ETL/ELT architecture, and cloud data platforms
• Understanding of banking data compliance, data protection, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative data engineering skills
• Relevant data engineering certifications preferred
