Job Title: Counsel – Group Legal

Job Description: As a Counsel in Group Legal at a globally established digital media and technology group, you will manage external consultants — liaising with external lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, bankers, and other external consultants. You will apply senior legal advisory expertise to a wide-ranging Group Legal mandate spanning corporate, commercial, banking, and digital technology legal matters.

Responsibilities:

• Manage external consultants — liaise with external lawyers, auditors, tax advisors, bankers, and other external consultants
• Provide senior legal advisory across corporate, commercial, banking, and digital technology legal matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, commercial agreements, and banking documentation for group entities
• Advise on UAE corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and banking legal requirements
• Support corporate transactions — M&A, joint ventures, and commercial restructuring legal advisory
• Coordinate with external legal counsel, auditors, and banking partners on complex group legal matters
• Maintain legal documentation, contract registers, and governance filing records for group compliance
• Stay current on UAE corporate law, banking regulations, and digital technology legal developments

Qualifications Needed:

• Qualified lawyer with significant Group Legal counsel experience managing external lawyers, auditors, and bankers
• Deep expertise in UAE corporate, commercial, and banking legal advisory
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and external consultant management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication for group legal advisory and external stakeholder coordination
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE corporate and banking legal engagement
• UAE legal advisory experience with banking and corporate law background strongly preferred
