Job Title: Commercial Director

Job Description: As a Commercial Director for a global payments company specialising in high-risk merchant acquiring and alternative payment methods (APMs) across emerging markets, you will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy across the MENA region — applying 7+ years of experience in sales leadership within fintech, payment processing, and high-risk merchant acquiring to drive revenue growth across cards and APMs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead commercial strategy across the MENA region for a global payments company specialising in high-risk merchant acquiring and APMs
• Apply 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within fintech, payment processing, and high-risk merchant acquiring in emerging markets for APMs and cards
• Drive revenue growth across high-risk merchant categories and alternative payment method channels across MENA
• Build and manage senior commercial relationships with high-risk merchants, payment aggregators, and acquiring bank partners
• Define and execute regional go-to-market strategy for high-risk acquiring and APM products across MENA markets
• Lead commercial negotiations with major merchant clients and payment ecosystem partners
• Monitor MENA high-risk payments regulatory landscape and identify new commercial opportunities
• Build and develop the MENA commercial team as the business scales

Qualifications Needed:

• 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles within fintech, payment processing, high-risk merchant acquiring in emerging markets for APMs and cards
• Deep expertise in high-risk merchant categories, alternative payment methods, and acquiring bank relationships
• Proven track record driving commercial growth in the MENA payments and high-risk acquiring market
• Strong leadership, commercial negotiation, and senior merchant relationship management skills
• Understanding of MENA payment regulatory landscape and high-risk merchant compliance requirements
