Job Title: Chief of Compliance & MLRO

Job Description: As Chief of Compliance and MLRO, you will lead the compliance function of a Saudi financing and investment fintech, manage its SAMA-aligned regulatory programme, oversee AML/CFT controls and suspicious-activity reporting, engage regulators, conduct reviews, and build a strong compliance culture across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the company’s compliance programme in line with SAMA requirements
• Act as the principal liaison with SAMA and other regulatory authorities
• Oversee AML/CFT policies, procedures, systems, and controls
• Lead compliance reviews and internal audits and drive corrective actions
• Provide guidance and training to ensure departmental adherence
• Prepare compliance and AML reports for senior management and regulators
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and procedures accordingly
• Review and escalate suspicious activity reports with complete documentation

Qualifications Needed:

• Saudi nationality is mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related discipline
• At least 15 years of compliance or AML experience in Saudi banking or a SAMA-licensed company
• Deep knowledge of SAMA regulation, AML laws, and risk-management standards
• Experience with home-loan or mortgage products and AML monitoring tools
• Fluency in Arabic and English; CAMS, CISA, a master’s degree, or similar credentials are preferred
