Job Title: Chief Compliance Officer (UAE)

Job Description: As the Chief Compliance Officer, you will head the compliance function for a crypto exchange establishing a licensed local entity, building the compliance framework and ensuring full regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the UAE compliance function for the crypto exchange, establishing policies, procedures, and controls.
• Ensure compliance with VARA, ADGM, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Manage regulatory relationships, filings, and examinations with UAE authorities.
• Advise leadership on regulatory developments and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications Needed:

• 12+ years of compliance experience in crypto, fintech, or financial services, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of VARA, ADGM, and UAE financial services regulations.
• Proven track record of building compliance frameworks for licensed crypto entities.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills; fluent in English.
