Job Title: Business Operations Manager

Job Description: As a Business Operations Manager, you will lead first-line operational governance for a regulated cross-border payments business, covering outsourced service oversight, regulatory assessments, incident management, service performance, complaints, business continuity, controls, management information, and coordination with senior leaders and the Central Bank of the UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the regulated outsourcing framework, register, due diligence records, and internal control assessments
• Determine regulatory boundaries and coordinate required no-objection or notification processes
• Monitor outsourced provider service levels, performance, issues, remediation, and contractual obligations
• Lead operational incident management, root-cause analysis, escalation, and recovery coordination
• Oversee complaints, business continuity planning, operational procedures, and first-line risk controls
• Produce dashboards, management information, Board reporting, and regulatory submissions
• Maintain local operating policies and coordinate implementation across cross-border and matrixed teams
• Build relationships with executives, vendors, control functions, and the Central Bank while supporting growth and operational improvement

Qualifications Needed:

• At least seven years of operations experience in a fast-paced, regulated, high-volume business
• Direct experience managing regulated outsourcing under CBUAE rules or comparable FCA, EBA, SAMA, SCA, FSRA, or DFSA frameworks
• Strong programme management, incident management, vendor oversight, and operational control capability
• Demonstrated experience scaling operations and leading people in matrixed or cross-border environments
• Data-driven approach with experience producing dashboards, KPIs, management information, and executive reporting
• MBA, quantitative education, fintech or payments experience, and ability to meet applicable Fit and Proper standards are preferred
