Job Title: Business Development Manager – Cards & Payments Fintech

Job Description: As a Business Development Manager for a fintech company in Bahrain, you will apply at least 10 years of experience in cards and payments business development — applying a good financial institutions and banking network across Merchant Aggregators, e-commerce, and B2B processors in GCC and Africa to a senior commercial role in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s established fintech hub. Bahraini Nationals are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Apply at least 10 years of experience in cards and payments business development to this senior Bahrain fintech role
• Leverage good Financial Institutions and banking network, Merchant Aggregators, e-COM, and B2B processors in GCC and Africa
• Drive new client acquisition and partnership development across Bahrain and GCC fintech and banking ecosystem
• Present cards and payments fintech solutions to financial institution and merchant decision-makers across the region
• Apply creative talents and ability to solve tough problems in the complex GCC payments landscape
• Lead commercial negotiations and close deals with banks, merchants, and payment ecosystem partners
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for cards and payments fintech commercial growth
• Supervise teams as well as work independently — balancing senior leadership with hands-on commercial execution

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business or Finance related field — required
• At least 10 years of experience in cards and payments business development — required
• Good Financial Institutions and banking network, Merchant Aggregators, e-COM, and B2B processors in GCC and Africa
• Strong communication and IT fluency; ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
• In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events — required
• Bahraini Nationals encouraged to apply; excellent time management and organizational skills
