Job Title: Banking Technology Architect – Core Banking Modernization & Cloud Migration

Job Description: As a Banking Technology Architect at a UAE banking or technology consultancy, you will apply enterprise architecture expertise — designing and governing core banking modernization and cloud migration programmes for UAE and GCC banking institutions committed to digital-first infrastructure transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Apply enterprise architecture expertise to core banking modernization and cloud migration programme design
• Design and govern core banking modernization — API-first architecture, microservices, and cloud-native banking
• Lead cloud migration architecture — banking workload assessment, lift-and-shift, and cloud-native migration
• Develop and maintain architecture decision records, technology roadmaps, and digital transformation blueprints
• Coordinate with Banking Operations, Engineering, and Cloud Partner teams on architecture delivery
• Conduct architecture reviews and technology assessments for core banking modernization mandates
• Produce banking technology architecture documentation and cloud migration roadmaps for leadership review
• Monitor global core banking, cloud migration, and banking technology architecture developments for innovation

Qualifications Needed:

• Proven Banking Technology Architect experience with core banking modernization and cloud migration background
• Strong core banking API-first architecture, microservices design, and cloud-native banking migration expertise
• Deep understanding of UAE banking technology regulatory requirements and cloud infrastructure standards
• TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent enterprise architecture certification preferred
• Excellent technical communication — translating architecture to business and engineering stakeholders
• GCC banking technology architect core banking modernization and cloud migration experience strongly preferred
