Job Title: Backend Engineer

Job Description: As a Backend Engineer, you will design and build high-throughput, concurrent backend systems for CFD, FX, and crypto trading platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and performance at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance backend services using Java, Go, or Python for CFD/FX/crypto trading platforms.
• Implement concurrent, event-driven architectures and microservices to handle high-volume trading and market data.
• Optimise system performance, database queries, and caching strategies for low-latency processing.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Qualifications Needed:

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience in fintech, trading, or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Go, or Python, and experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Deep understanding of trading systems, order management, and market data processing.
• Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills; fluent in English.
