Job Title: Associate Finance – Oil & Gas Major

Job Description: As an Associate Finance professional at a major oil and gas company via a globally connected executive search firm, you will apply driven, dedicated, and ambitious finance skills — joining the finance team of a major oil and gas company operating in the UAE for a structured associate finance mandate at a globally recognized energy organization.

Responsibilities:

• Apply driven, dedicated, and ambitious finance skills to associate finance operations at a major energy company
• Support the finance team across financial analysis, reporting, and accounting operations
• Conduct financial analysis — variance reporting, cost analysis, and performance monitoring for energy operations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities under senior Finance team guidance
• Ensure UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance across all energy sector financial operations
• Produce financial reports, analytical outputs, and management information for senior Finance leadership
• Coordinate with Operations, Commercial, and Finance teams on energy sector financial requirements
• Build professional oil and gas sector finance skills through structured associate programme mentoring

Qualifications Needed:

• Driven, dedicated, and ambitious Finance Associate — required for major oil and gas company mandate
• Proven Associate Finance or early-career finance professional experience in oil, gas, or energy sector
• Strong financial analysis, variance reporting, and energy sector cost management skills
• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred or in progress for associate finance mandate
• Understanding of UAE VAT and energy sector financial regulatory requirements
• GCC oil and gas or energy sector associate finance experience strongly preferred
