Job Title: Assistant Manager – Customer Due Diligence

Job Description: As an Assistant Manager for Customer Due Diligence at one of the UAE’s most innovative banks, you will apply prior experience with UAE or international banks in FI due diligence and compliance advisory roles — managing the KYC refresh and CDD programme for a bank recognized as Forbes Number One UAE Bank and committed to driving UAE economic growth for over 50 years.

Responsibilities:

• Apply prior experience with UAE or international banks in FI due diligence and compliance advisory roles
• Manage the Customer Due Diligence programme — overseeing KYC refresh, CDD, and EDD activities
• Conduct thorough financial institution due diligence — evaluating counterparty AML programme quality and risk
• Lead and manage a team of KYC review and approval analysts — setting standards and driving quality
• Ensure all periodic KYC refresh reviews are completed accurately within risk-based monitoring schedules
• Escalate complex or higher-risk CDD cases with appropriate documentation to senior compliance management
• Produce CDD management information and regulatory reporting for Compliance leadership review
• Monitor UAE AML/CFT regulatory developments affecting the customer due diligence programme

Qualifications Needed:

• Prior experience with UAE or international banks in FI due diligence and compliance advisory roles — highly desirable
• Proven Assistant Manager or senior KYC/CDD management experience within a UAE banking institution
• Deep understanding of KYC refresh requirements, risk-based monitoring, and UAE AML/CFT frameworks
• Excellent team leadership, performance management, and compliance quality improvement skills
• CAMS or equivalent AML qualification preferred
• Arabic language skills preferred for UAE banking CDD and regulatory engagement
