Job Title: AML Analyst

Job Description: As an AML Analyst at a crypto and virtual assets company in Dubai, you will be responsible for executing AML/CFT compliance operations — applying prior crypto industry experience and direct exposure to VARA-related processes to support a growing digital asset business’s financial crime compliance programme. Only candidates with prior crypto industry experience and direct exposure to VARA-related processes or regulations will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Execute AML/CFT compliance operations for a crypto and virtual assets company in Dubai
• Apply prior crypto industry experience and direct VARA exposure to all compliance activities
• Conduct KYC, CDD, and EDD reviews for digital asset clients across institutional and retail segments
• Perform transaction monitoring — identifying and investigating suspicious activity across virtual asset operations
• Implement blockchain analytics tools including wallet screening and source-of-funds tracing
• Prepare and submit SAR/STR reports in line with VARA requirements and UAE FIU reporting obligations
• Maintain accurate AML records and compliance documentation for VARA audit and regulatory review
• Provide AML reports to senior management and Board on financial crime compliance status

Qualifications Needed:

• Prior crypto industry experience and direct exposure to VARA-related processes or regulations — only such candidates considered
• Proven AML/CFT compliance experience within a virtual assets, crypto, or digital asset environment
• Hands-on expertise with blockchain analytics tools — wallet screening and source-of-funds tracing
• Understanding of VARA regulations and UAE virtual asset AML/CFT requirements
• CAMS or equivalent AML qualification preferred
• Strong analytical and compliance documentation skills for VARA regulatory reporting
