Job Title: Deputy MLRO

Job Description: As the Deputy MLRO at Apex Group, you will be a controlled function approved by the CBB, ensuring the company’s compliance with all AML/CFT and Sanctions requirements [citation:5][citation:11].

Responsibilities:

• Act as the Company’s DMLRO and assist the MLRO, acting with full delegated authority in their absence.
• Ensure timely submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and maintain proper records of internal reports and decisions [citation:5][citation:11].
• Implement and maintain AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls aligned with CBB requirements.
• Oversee customer due diligence, ongoing monitoring, sanctions screening, and PEP identification for funds and clients [citation:5][citation:11].

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; professional certification (CAMS/ICA) is preferred [citation:5][citation:11].
• Proven AML/CFT experience in financial services.
• Strong regulatory judgment, independence, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong English/Arabic language skills and excellent stakeholder management abilities [citation:11].
