Job Title: Technical Lead

Job Description: As a Technical Lead for Wallets at Tether, you will lead the engineering team responsible for building and securing digital wallet infrastructure, driving technical strategy and product innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the wallet engineering team, setting technical direction, architecture, and best practices.
• Design and build secure, scalable digital wallet systems for crypto and stablecoin storage and transfers.
• Ensure wallet security, including private key management, multi-signature, and secure key storage.
• Collaborate with product, security, and compliance teams to deliver features and maintain compliance.

Qualifications Needed:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in wallet or blockchain infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in wallet architecture, private key management, and blockchain security.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, or Python, and experience with cloud platforms and microservices.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills; fluent in English.
