Job Title: Backend Architect – Pay & Card Tech

Job Description: As a Backend Architect specialising in Pay & Card technology at Binance, you will design and oversee the architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance payment and card processing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design of payment processing, card issuing, and settlement systems.
• Define technical standards, frameworks, and best practices for backend development teams.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, and security in compliance with PCI-DSS and local regulations.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver robust payment solutions.

Qualifications Needed:

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience, with 5+ years in architectural roles for payments or fintech.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and high-throughput processing.
• Strong knowledge of payment gateways, card schemes, and financial security standards.
• Exceptional technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in English.
