Job Title: Chief Technology Officer

Job Description: As a Chief Technology Officer, you will define and lead the technology strategy for a Sharia-compliant BNPL platform based in the Qatar Financial Centre, establishing the engineering organization, architecture, standards, documentation, and delivery foundation required for licensing and scale.

Responsibilities:

• Define the technology vision and roadmap for the BNPL platform
• Establish the initial engineering hiring and contractor plan
• Set coding standards, technical documentation, and operational runbooks
• Lead architecture decisions for secure and scalable financial products
• Guide development of customer, merchant, payment, and risk capabilities
• Ensure technology planning supports Qatar Central Bank licensing requirements
• Oversee delivery quality, reliability, security, and technical governance
• Partner with founders and business leaders through product launch and growth

Qualifications Needed:

• Senior technology leadership experience in fintech, payments, lending, or digital platforms
• Ability to build and lead a lean engineering organization
• Strong software architecture and scalable-platform design capability
• Understanding of security, reliability, documentation, and production operations
• Experience setting engineering standards and delivery practices
• Ability to work closely with founders in an early-stage regulated business
